Travel Vaccines
If you’re travelling outside of the UK, you might need to be vaccinated against some serious diseases found in other parts of the world. You should book a travel vaccination appointment if you’re travelling overseas and need protection against infections.
You can check what vaccinations are necessary or recommended for the areas you’ll be visiting on the Travel Health Pro website, or our team will also be able to advise you.
You can also get travel vaccines at private travel vaccination clinics or some pharmacies. Find out more about travel vaccinations on the NHS website.
Catchment area
If you live in or near our catchment area shown below, we'd love for you to join our practice.
Who is this for?
Anyone travelling overseas, if you’re travelling in more than 6 weeks time. If you’re travelling in less than 6 weeks, you will need to go to a private travel vaccination clinic or pharmacy instead.
What to expect
Before your appointment you’ll be asked to let us know when you’re travelling, where you’re travelling to, any previous vaccines you’ve already had, and any allergies. Our practice nurse will tell you what vaccinations are necessary or recommended for the areas you’ll be visiting, be able to answer any questions you have, and administer the vaccine.
How can I book?
You can book an appointment by calling the practice or by filling out the form below. Please note that due to a high demand on appointments, we may only be able to vaccinate for the vaccinations covered under the NHS. To get the full set of travel vaccinations, it may be better to book at private travel vaccination clinics or some pharmacies.
Covered by NHS?
Vaccinations against polio, typhoid, hepatitis A and cholera are free and covered by the NHS. Any other vaccines (e.g. yellow fever, hepatitis B) are not available on the NHS.
